Effect of ionizing radiation and temperature regimes during storage of potato tubers on activity of redox enzymes

Effect of ionizing radiation and temperature regimes during storage of potato tubers on activity of redox enzymes

Sbornik Nauchnykh Trudov, Belorusskaya Sel' skokhozyaistvennaya Akademiya (19): 117-123

Irradiation of potato tubers with gamma -rays at 0.5-3 kR had differential effects on activity of peroxidase and polyphenoloxidase, which depended on types of tissues investigated, irradiation doses and temp. (1-2 or 9-10 deg C) during storage.
