In trials in 1973-5 with sorghum in Volgograd region, application of 30 kg/ha each of N, P2O5 and K2O, NP and N gave average fresh fodder yields of 30.57, 29.68 and 29.1 t/ha respectively, compared with 27.53 t/ha without fertilizers.
