ISSN/ISBN: 0019-5146

4 F1 Brown Swiss X Sahiwal crosses (C) and 4 Sahiwal purebred (S) cows (all calving in Oct.-Nov. 1973) were fed ad lib. fodder (different combinations of green berseem, maize, oat silage, oats and wheat bhusa, depending on availability) together with 1 kg maize-based concentrate/cow at each of the 3 daily milkings.
