Effect of rate of nitrogen and of variety on yield and yield components in dwarf wheat



Proceedings of the Crop Science Society of Japan 45(1): 47-50



A significant increase in the yield and in the components of the yield (except 1000 grain weight) was observed with application of up to 160 kg/ha N. The varietal differences were mostly due to the number of spikes per 2 metre row length and the 1000 grain weight.
