For 292 days from between 110 and 120 kg liveweight 2 groups of 12 Aberdeen-Angus X improved Rhodope bulls were given chopped hay 35 or 55% with concentrates 65 or 45%. Average daily gains were 852 and 737 g and intakes of starch equivalent were 4110 and 3780 g/kg gained.
