Effect of scion and rootstock on mineral composition of mandarin-type citrus leaves

Marked differences were found in the mineral composition (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Cu, Zn, Mn, B, Na and Al) of leaves from 8 closely related scions grown on 6 different rootstocks for 7 years. The scions were satsuma Owari, Orlando tangelo, 5 hybrids of clementine X Orlando (viz. Robinson, Bower, Nova, 6-9-10 and 6-6-21), and the Page hybrid of Minneola tangelo X clementine. The rootstocks were rough lemon, Milam lemon, sour orange, Rusk citrange, Carrizo citrange and Orlando tangelo.
