Effect of two levels of energy and protein on weight gain of newly weaned ewe lambs

Effect of two levels of energy and protein on weight gain of newly weaned ewe lambs

Agricultura Tecnica 34(4): 232-235

Romney lambs in 4 groups of 7 to 9, recently weaned and weighing 20 to 25 kg, were given diets with 12.5 or 17% crude protein, each with 62 or 68% total digestible nutrients. There was no difference among groups in weight gained in 52 days, but the interaction between protein and energy was almost significant.
