Effect of type of feed on glycogen content of the hepatopancreas and muscles of carp (Cyprinus carpio L.)

Effect of type of feed on glycogen content of the hepatopancreas and muscles of carp (Cyprinus carpio L.)

Zivocisna Vyroba 21(12): 891-900

Three groups of carp in Czechoslovakia were given (1) standard mixture KP2 with protein 26.3, fat 3.33 N-free extract 45.4, fibre 19.1%; (2) barley meal (12.4% protein, 2.5% fat, 77.7% N-free extract, 4.1% fibre); (3) natural feed (46% protein, 21% fat, 33% N-free extract). Each area of 1000 m2 contained 250 fish. Liver, pancreas and white skeletal muscle were sampled.
