Effect of urea on electrophoretic pattern of soil humic acids

The effect of increasing concentrations of urea in the polyacrylamide disc gels used for the electrophoresis of soil humic acids suggested that all the humic acids were not statistical polymers, but that they contained constant and uniform molecular fractions.
