Effect of urediospore concentration of the pathogen of brown rust, Puccinia recondita Rob. ex Desm., on inoculation of wheat plants

Effect of urediospore concentration of the pathogen of brown rust, Puccinia recondita Rob. ex Desm., on inoculation of wheat plants

Mikologiya i Fitopatologiya 10(1): 23-28

When high concs. of spores are reached (250 or more/cm2) the numbers of pustules become stabilized and no change occurs with further increases in conc. The effectiveness of cloned isolates is related to the number of spores deposited on wheat leaves.
