3 matched groups of 4 Large White sows inseminated at 90-100 kg live wt. received a common ration of kibbled maize and wheat, fodder beet, maize silage and meat-and-bone flour (i) alone, or (ii) and (iii) supplemented with 2 different mixtures of vitamins (A, D3, E, thiamin, riboflavin, pantothenic and nicotinic acid and B12) and trace elements (Mn, Fe, Zn, Cu, Co) with some other additions.
