Effect of vitamin deficiency in the feed of chickens on the course of experimental ascaridiasis

The effect of vitamin deficiency in chickens on their weight, and on the prepatient period and intensity of infection with Ascaridia galli was examined. Vitamin deficient chickens had lower weight, higher mortality and a substantially higher intensity of infection than controls.
