Of 8 pecan cvs (on Apache seedling rootstock) examined for frost damage, after a drop in temperature to 14 deg F on 14 November, 1976, Choctaw, Wichita and Cheyenne showed the least damage, viz. 8.03, 12.1 and 13.8%, respectively, and Desirable and Mohawk the most damage, viz. 33.3 and 30.4%, respectively.
