Efficacy of fenbendazole, thiabendazole and tetramisole on gastrointestinal nematodes of ruminants

The anthelmintic efficacy of fenbendazole, thiabendazole and tetramisole was tested in field trials on 68 heifers and 419 lambs. Faecal examinations were carried out on 68 heifers and 90 lambs, and 12 lambs were examined P.M. Heifers were infected with Ostertagia spp., Cooperia oncophora, Trichostrongylus spp., Oesophagostomum radiatum, Strongyloides papillosus and Dictyocaulus viviparus.
