The following were among the 57 papers presented at this symposium held at Kumasi, Ghana, on 12-17 Aug. 1975:a. Okpala, E.U. (Univ. Nigeria, Nsukka). Effects of concentration, weather and periodicity of application of certain fungicides on Septoria lycopersici (Speg.), leaf blotch disease of tomato at Nsukka, Nigeria (64-70, 2 fig., 4 tab.). Cu oxide and mancozeb formulations gave equally good control, concs. of 1 g/l being as effective as those of 4 g/l.
