Growth models for Helianthus annuus L. and Zinnia elegans Jacq

, : Growth models for Helianthus annuus L. and Zinnia elegans Jacq. Journal of the American Society for Horticultural Science 101(4): 475-479

Using data for fresh and dry weight of shoots, root dry weight and total dry weight of sunflowers grown at root temperatures of 15.6-26.7 deg C, day and night air temperatures of 10-37.8 deg , daylengths of 10-23 h, light intensities of 10 800-37 800 lx, estimated equations for 1st approximation response surfaces were derived.

Dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine (DMPC)-polylysine and DMPC-histones systems were studied by Raman spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. The interactions are mainly confined tto the lipid-water interface. The protein fraction of histon...

Heterodyne detection in the limit of weak (a few photons) local oscillator and signal power levels has been largely neglected in the past, as authors almost always assumed that the noise was dominated by the shot noise from a strong local oscillat...
