Histochemical investigations on the liver of Mastomys natalensis after infection with Capillaria hepatica

Histochemical investigations on the liver of Mastomys natalensis after infection with Capillaria hepatica

Behring Institute Mitteilungen, Parasitologie (60): 38-45

Ten Mastomys natalensis males were infected with Capillaria hepatica and were killed after intervals of 2 hours to 90 days for histochemical examination of the worms in the livers. In the intestines of the worms, fluid and granular protein were found which were PAS positive but diastase-resistant.
