Histological and histochemical changes in tissues of ixodid ticks under the effect of Bacdip

A study was made of morphological changes and changes in the content of nucleic acid and glycogen in examples of Rhipicephalus bursa C. & F. and Hyalomma marginatum Koch (plumbeum auct.) and, in the latter, of changes in succinate dehydrogenase and acetylcholinesterase also. Examples of R. bursa were dipped in a 0.005% solution of quintiofos (Bacdip) and those of H. marginatum, in a 0.01% solution.
