Histological changes in structures and nucleic acids of mammary glands of cows in intracisternal infusion of antibiotics

Histological changes in structures and nucleic acids of mammary glands of cows in intracisternal infusion of antibiotics

Trudy, Vsesoyuznyi Nauchno issledovatel' skii Institut Veterinarnoi Sanitarii 46: 48-50

Effects of infusion of 100 000 or 500 000 IU sodium penicillin, benzylpenicillin, or streptomycin in distilled water or 0.5% novocaine solution into healthy udder quarters were studied on mammary tissue biopsy specimens. Changes in different cells and structures and RNA and DNA contents are described.
