Histopathology of nuclear polyhedrosis virus infection in Spodoptera litura (Fabricius)

Histopathology of nuclear polyhedrosis virus infection in Spodoptera litura (Fabricius)

Indian Journal of Entomology 1977; 38(1): 51-56

Histopathological observations were made on larvae and pupae of Spodoptera litura (F.) infected with a nuclear polyhedrosis virus. Fat-body, tracheae and hypodermis were the main target tissues in both stages, and, in addition, the gonads, brain and ganglia of larvae showed moderate infection.
