Hormonal control of the body-colour change in larvae of the larger pellucid hawk moth, Cephonodes hylas L. (2)

Hormonal control of the body-colour change in larvae of the larger pellucid hawk moth, Cephonodes hylas L. (2)

Botyu Kagaku 41(4): 192-194

In further investigations on the hormonal control of body-colour change in larvae of Cephonodes hylas (L.) (see RAE/A 64, 4673, etc.), extirpation of the corpora allata slightly accelerated the reddening that occurred at the end of the final larval instar.
