, : In vitro regeneration of shoot and root growth from meristematic tips of Pelargonium X hortorum Bailey. Acta Horticulturae (59): 131-141

A modification of the Murashige and Skoog tissue culture medium is described which enables the successful development of plantlets from P. meristem tips. In tests with the medium 32 P. hortorum cvs. were first exposed to thermotherapy (38 deg C for 4 weeks) and then cultured from meristem tips. After transplanting the cvs. were indexed on indicator plants for viruses reported to infect P.
