a. Posnette, A.F.; Campbell, A.I.; Cropley, R. (East Malling, UK). The re-indexing of EMLA scionwood trees and rootstocks growing on special stock nurseries (275-278, 2 tab.). A total of 2855 scionwood trees and 3871 rootstock samples tested at East Malling and Long Ashton failed to show any spread of graft transmissible diseases into apples and pears, but plum pox was found in one nursery and has been eradicated. Little cherry disease was detected in some sweet cherries.b.
