Influence of aldrin on radio-carbon (14C-glucose) incorporation by two Rhizobium species

The effect of aldrin in the soil on Rhizobium spp., which are beneficial symbiotic nitrogen-fixing bacteria, was investigated by testing its effect in vitro on the carbon assimilation by R. trifolii from lucerne and another species of Rhizobium from black gram (Phaseolus mungo (p.m. var. radiatus)) by a method that is described.
