The most profitable response was given by dwarf wheat Sonalika and Kalyan Sona to the application of 150 kg N/ha with 4 irrigations, by tall N.P.884 to the application of 90 kg N/ha with 3 irrigations and by dwarf wheat Hira to the application of 120 kg N/ha with 4 irrigations when they were sown on normal date (16 Nov.).
