Abstract
In trials on scheduling irrigation to the 3-gene dwarf wheat cv. Moti on light-textured alluvial soil, the treatments consisted of all combinations of 3 irrigation depths of 6, 8 or 10 cm and 4 irrigation water depth:cumulative pan evaporation (ID:CPE) ratios of 0.6, 0.75, 0.9 or 1.05. The 1st irrigation of 6 cm depth at the crown-root initiation stage followed by 3 irrigations each of 8 cm depth after a cumulative pan evaporation of 89 mm (ID:CPE ratio of 0.9) gave the highest grain yields and net profit.
