The beta exotoxin of Bacillus thuringiensis var. thuringiensis was evaluated for larvicidal activity against Orthellia caesarion (Mg.) in cow dung and Phormia regina (Mg.) in an artificial diet. Dosages varying from 2.5 to 100 p.p.m. were tested, and the LD50's were found to be 8.65 and 22.9 p.p.m., respectively.
