Light-dependent control of day temperature for early tomato crops
A light-dependent temperature control system capable of automatic adjustment of glasshouse temperatures with changing levels of solar radiation is briefly described. Results of experiments involving the use of various "modulating" and "steady" temperature regimes in the production of early tomato crops showed variable responses to light-dependent temperature control depending on the nature of the programme used.
