Marketing activities and organizational problems in exporting fruit and vegetables from third countries into the Federal Republic of Germany

23 German fruit and vegetable importers were interviewed to discover the situation and problems of non-EEC exporting countries. They said that there were no bureaucratic difficulties impeding imports from third countries but could give no information on trade barriers in the exporting countries. The GFR exercises strict quality control, but few imports were found unsatisfactory.
