Experiments were made with Coniophora puteana, Poria monticola and Gloeophyllum abietinum on pine sapwood, and with Coriolus versicolor on beech. The efficacy of monochlornaphthalin, phenylmercury oleate, pentachlorphenol, tributyltin oxide, NCH-Al, dichlofluanid and fluorfolpet is discussed in comparison with the most common protectives.
