North Swedish progress in machine harvesting and breeding of Ribes

, : North Swedish progress in machine harvesting and breeding of Ribes. Acta Horticulturae (60): 177-182

A new harvester (Vinman) is described. It can pick young black currant bushes (with their first crop) and fully grown plants. Its additional advantages are low labour requirement (2 men) and low cost (about pounds-sterling 5000).
