Observation on growth and dry matter accumulation in cocoa seedlings as influenced by bean size
The beans were graded into 4 sizes with mean weights of 1370, 1670, 2210 and 2520 mg in one experiment, and 2320 and 2730 mg in another experiment. Leaf number and seedling height increased linearly during the nursery period but the influence of bean size was apparent in only one case.
