In three breeding herds, body mass of treated and control heifers, weaning mass of their calves and reconception rate after service were recorded over two years. In a group of heifers, pen fed for 90 days prior to slaughter, differences in live mass, dressing out percentage and liver condemnation rate were recorded in treated and control animals.
