Pigs aged 4 to 5 months were inoculated orally with 100,000 to 200,000 oocyts of Eimeria debliecki, E. neodebliecki, E. perminuta and Isospora suis and killed at intervals up to 163 hours later. 4 types of mature macrogametocyte and 2 of mature microgametocyte were observed. Macrogametocytes 16.0 to 17.6 X 10.8 to 11.2 mu m (mean 16.8 X 10.8 mu m) located in the epithelium at the distal ends of the villi 8 feet along the intestine resembled those described as E. debliecki.
