On the genus Oxyspirura with a description of two new species (Nematoda, Spirurida, Thelaziidae)

Oxyspirura diazungriai n.sp. from the orbit of Odontophorus gujanensis from Santa Elena, Bolivar, Venezuela, is characterized by the absence of oesophageal denticles, the small size of the spicules, the arrangement of the caudal papillae and by the presence of a gubernaculum. Oxyspirura guriensis n.sp. from the orbit of Momotus momota from Rio Caroni, Bolivar, Venezuela, resembles O. chauvancyi but is larger and differs in the morphology of the spicules and the gubernaculum.
