Performance of broilers on different waterers

Performance of broilers on different waterers

Arkansas Farm Research 25(3): 7

In 2 experiments chickens were reared to 8 or 7 weeks of age on the floor, with water supplied in a trough or by red plastic nipple or in cages with stainless steel or red plastic nipples. In both trials the chickens on the floor with the trough were significantly heavier than those with nipples.
