Abstract
The performance of five varieties after two sowing dates, and at two spacings and two rates of fertilizer application was investigated from 1971 to 1973. J205 outyielded all other varieties in two years while J34 outyielded all other varieties in the third year. J205 proved to be most suitable for normal sowing, while J34 was more suitable for early or late sowing.
