Physiological significance of the in vivo assay for nitrate reductase in cotton seedlings

Physiological significance of the in vivo assay for nitrate reductase in cotton seedlings

Crop Science 15(5): 710-713

ISSN/ISBN: 0011-183X

4 in vivo assay techniques for nitrate reductase activity were evaluated for their ability to predict NO3 assimilation rates of germinating dark-grown cotton seedlings. Techniques were either aerobic or anaerobic, and either with or without added NO3 in the assay medium.
