Both large and small molecular weight phytochromes from oats Garry as well as large phytochrome from oats Newton, rye Balbo, barley Harrison and pea Alaska seedlings were characterized by a specific antiserum against large phytochrome from Garry. Double diffusion assay against large and small phytochromes from Garry indicated only partial identity.
