Susceptibility to attack by Psila rosae at 2 sites was investigated in 1969 in the carrot cvs Nantes 20, Royal Chantenay, Clucas New Model (Red Cored), No. 24993, Amsterdam Forcing, Amsterdam 5558, Elsoms Perfecta, Speed's Norfolk Giant, Chantenay (Long), Elsoms Cylinder and Autumn King (Red Cored). Significant differences in the percentages of unattacked roots were observed but not all the cvs behaved consistently at the two sites.
