The existence of sources of resistance to Pseudomonas phaseolicola, Xanthomonas phaseoli, common bean mosaic virus and Colletotrichum lindemuthianum is noted; the numbers of genes and of F2 individuals to be tested which combined resistance to two or more of these would involve are given.
