Pekin ducklings in 5 groups of 41 were fed from day-old on a concentrate mixture with for 2 groups 8.4% toasted rapeseed oilmeal; for 1 group the proportion was increased to 14.2% at 4 weeks of age. In another 2 groups 30% of concentrates at 4 weeks and 50% at 6 weeks of age were replaced by potato silage with 12% untreated rapeseed oilmeal. Control ducks got no rapeseed oilmeal.
