Recovery processes in mammary glands during different physiological states. 2. Effect of thyroidin and hydrocortisone on recovery processes in mammary glands of guinea pigs and white rats

Recovery processes in mammary glands during different physiological states. 2. Effect of thyroidin and hydrocortisone on recovery processes in mammary glands of guinea pigs and white rats

Lietuvos TRS Mokslu Akademijos Darbai, C 1(65): 151-161

Thyroidin (3 mg/100 g body wt. every other day) had a positive effect on recovery processes in mammary glands after excision of approx. 50 or 75% of the tissue; mitotic activity of alveolar epithelium (MA) was increased and the hypertrophy of structural elements was more pronounced.
