Relationship between pod size and seed set in sown lucerne for different pollination conditions

After natural pollination of flowers by insects there were, on average, 2.3 seeds/pod; after cross-pollination by hand and self-pollination by hand there were 2.4 and 1.3 seeds/pod respectively.P.
