Relationship of rates of individual development of plants with enzyme activity

Relationship of rates of individual development of plants with enzyme activity

Trudy, Khar' kovskii Sel' skokhozyaistvennyi Institut 206: 102-117

The developmental rates of plants are associated with activity of enzymes. Rapidly-developing plants differ from slowly-developing ones in higher activity of respiratory enzymes, amylase, sucrase and proteolytic enzymes.
