Relationship of soil and foliar tests in assaying the nutrient status of peach orchards

Proceedings of the 95th Annual Meeting, Arkansas State Horticultural Society 1974: 49-54

Analyses were made of soil and leaf samples from 14 peach orchards with 3 cvs. Data are presented on the soil pH and available P, K, Ca and Mg at 2 depths, and on foliar analyses converted to index values for each major element. There was no correlation between soil pH and tissue index values or between the percentage soil organic matter and leaf N content.
