Relay toxicity of meat and liver coming from calves treated with various hormones. Complete results

Comptes Rendus Hebdomadaires des Seances de l' Academie des Sciences, D Sciences Naturelles 278(16): 2067-2070

Freeze-dried meat from calves that had received two implants (at an interval of 60 days) of 24 mg diethylstilboestrol, 20 mg oestradiol plus 200 mg progesterone, or 20 mg oestradiol plus 200 mg testosterone was given to rats as 20% of their diet for 24 months. Freeze-dried liver from the same calves was given to other rats as 6% of their diet for 20 months.
