Research on the susceptibility of several varieties of pea (Pisum sativum L.) to attack by the pea moth - Laspeyresia nigricana Steph. (Tortricidae - Lep.) in relation to different applications of mineral fertilisers

Roczniki Nauk Rolniczych, E 7(1): 171-179

A 3-year study near Lublin, Poland, on 12 varieties of peas grown for seed showed that the level of mineral fertilisers applied did not affect the level of infestation by Cydia nigricana (F.) (Laspeyresia nigricana). Five varieties were more heavily infested than the remainder. It was noted that the level of attack was positively correlated with the length of the growing period.
