In 1975, 43 varieties of Lupinus luteus, 18 of L. angustifolius and one of L. albus were tested at the Tula Agricultural Station, USSR. The degree of infection in L. angustifolius ranged from 20.4% in Nemchinovka 846 to 33.3% in Muzhin and in L. luteus from 0 in Bystrorastushchii 4 to 29% in Stodolishche 70.
