A day/night temp. regime of 25/15 deg C was more favourable for disease development of Sphaerotheca humuli f. sp. fuliginea on K. blossfeldiana than were higher or lower temp. regimes. The cvs. Cherie, Granat, Korall, Roter Pfeffer, Ramona, Cavalier, Red Empress and Selection were all immune from powdery mildew. Gelbe Melody was highly resistant and Feuerball, Feuerzauber and Rotkappchen were resistant. Other cvs. were susceptible in varying degrees.
